AP/Dual Credit Courses
  • All students taking a dual credit course will need to complete the dual credit application through Ivy Tech. SSN are required.

Scholarships & Financial Aid

It is important that all students complete their FAFSA by the Indiana deadline to be eligible for federal and state aid. This includes 21st Century Scholar Money.

It is important for students to create an account and complete all yearly requirements.
Local Scholarships
Multiple scholarship opportunities available for students throughout the year. All scholarships and deadlines will be posted in Google Classroom. Students may need to create personal accounts for Dollars for Scholars and Ripley County Community Foundation in order to apply for scholarships.

Southeastern Career Center (SCC)

Interested in hands-on experience that specializes in a trade? Visit the Southeastern Indiana Career Center’s Web page for information on specific programs available. Program applications are due in the Spring when schedules are being created.

SAT Information
PSAT Information
All 10th grade students will be required to take the exam. It is optional for 11th grade students to take the assessment. Students must take it their Junior year to be eligible for National Merit Scholarships. PSAT scores are also used to determine dual credit eligibility for students that take any AP/Dual Credit courses in high school.
AP Exams
Students that take AP courses are required to take the AP Exam in May. Fees may be associated with this exam. A score of a 3,4 or 5 may qualify the student for college credit.

The accuplacer is given to students that have requested to take an AP/Dual credit course and did not obtain qualifying scores on their PSAT. The test can be broken down into three parts (Reading, Writing, Math) based on individuals specific needs. The exam is used to determine dual credit eligibility.
